Fishing Report
January-2011
The weather has made it challenging for the most popular targeted species, the spec
(crappie). Very cold temperatures which translates to cold water upper 40's to mid 50's not
to mention high winds making trolling and drifting next to impossible. My drift sock has
worked on occasion but just one more item to attend to. Good days have produced 8-10
fish per person 1lb to 1-1/2lb with some reaching close to 2lbs
A report from Front Street Bait & Tackle recorded a 15" 2-1/2lb spec.
One angers catch of specs just
